Terms of Service

1. Agreement

These terms govern your use of LaneSeek. By using the platform or buying a plan, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use LaneSeek.

2. What LaneSeek Is

LaneSeek provides two self-service tools: Career Compare, which produces a written comparison of career paths you select, and AI Interview Role-Play, which produces a simulated interview and a written report. We are a software platform. We are not a career advisory service, a recruiter, or an employer, and we do not act on your behalf.

3. AI-Generated Content

Comparisons, interview questions, and reports are generated by automated systems from the information you provide. They can be incomplete, generic, or wrong. Use them as input to your own thinking, not as a decision made for you, and always check anything factual against the original source.

4. Accounts and Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use LaneSeek. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide, for keeping your login secure, and for activity that happens under your account. You may try the free tier without an account; buying a plan requires one.

5. Plans, Payments and Renewals

• •The free tier allows one limited career comparison and one five-minute practice interview.
• •Career Compare ($4.99), Interview Prep ($14.99) and LaneSeek Complete ($17.99) can be bought as one-time access, which lasts 30 days and does not renew.
• •Extra practice ($5.99) adds two interviews and is available with Interview Prep or LaneSeek Complete.
• •Payments are processed by Stripe. We never store your full card details.
• •Usage limits apply to the period you paid for and do not carry over once that period ends.

6. Cancellation and Refunds

Paid access does not renew and ends after 30 days, so there is nothing to cancel. Because the tools generate content immediately when you use them, refunds are issued at LaneSeek's discretion. If something went wrong with a purchase, contact us and we will review it.

7. Your Content and Ours

You keep ownership of what you submit — your job descriptions, your answers, and any notes you add. You give us the permission we need to process that content in order to run the tools for you, including sending it to the third-party AI providers we use. The comparisons, interviews, reports, and the design of the platform itself belong to LaneSeek, for your personal use.

8. Acceptable Use

Do not use LaneSeek to break the law, to submit content you have no right to share, to attempt to extract or reverse-engineer the platform or its AI systems, or to interfere with other users. Do not paste confidential, proprietary, or sensitive personal information into a job description, an interview answer, or a comparison.

9. Availability

We aim to keep LaneSeek available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Features may change, and the AI-generated parts of the product depend on third-party providers that are outside our control.

10. Limitation of Liability

LaneSeek does not guarantee any career outcome, job offer, interview result, or salary. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for decisions you make, or fail to make, using the platform, nor for indirect or consequential losses.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms as the platform changes. Material changes will be reflected in the date below, and continued use of LaneSeek after a change means you accept the updated terms.
